Step-by-step flow

Register or log in
Create your student account via Register or sign in using Login. For this demo, any email and password will work. -
List an item
Go to Sell an Item, fill out the details (title, description, price, category, and location), then submit the form. -
Connect and meet up
Buyers can browse your listing on Browse Items and contact you using the contact method you provided. Agree on a time and a safe place to meet. -
Approve payment & view receipts
After the buyer has paid you in person, go to My Sales, find the item, and click Approve Payment / Generate Receipt. A digital receipt will be created and added to your notification bell. -
Access your receipts anytime
While logged in, click the notification bell on the top-right to see all your receipts. Click any entry to view full details in the receipt modal.
Safety tips
- Meet in public places on campus. Choose well-lit, busy areas such as the library lobby, cafeteria, or main building.
- Avoid sharing sensitive information. Never share passwords, bank PINs, or other private details.
- Check the item carefully. Inspect electronics, books, and clothing before finalizing the exchange.
- Verify payment before handing over the item. For digital payments, confirm that the transfer is complete and reflected on your account.
- Bring a friend if needed. If you feel unsure, ask a friend to come along to the meetup.
- Follow school policies. Make sure your transactions follow SLSU guidelines and respect campus rules.
